MEDFORD, Ore. - A strong low is anticipated to bring 2 to 3 feet of snow to the Mt. Shasta City area this evening through Tuesday night.

There will be potential for up to 1 to 2 feet or snow in the mountains with this event, although the totals should be on the lower side in Oregon as the greatest moisture is focused over California.

It will be windy in many of the valleys and along the coast as a front moves inland this evening through Tuesday morning.

Conditions will be hazardous to those traveling through northern California, across the passes in the Southern Oregon Cascades, and for areas east of the Cascade in portions of Klamath and western Lake Counties this evening through Tuesday night.
