A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday for Haines 6 over the Bootleg Fire in Fire Weather Zone 624.
Very dry and unstable conditions can support extreme fire behavior. Plume domination is possible with locally generated erratic and gusty winds. Spotting could be problematic.
RED FLAG WARNING
Affected area: Fire Weather Zone 624 (Klamath & Lake Counties) Including the area of the Bootleg Fire.
Wind: Southwest to west 5 to 15 mph. Peak gusts of 20 mph.
Humidity: As low as 10 percent.
Additional Details: This Red Flag Warning includes the burn site of the Bootleg Fire.
Precautionary / Preparedness Actions
