A local cast and crew bring to life ‘The Addams Family A New Musical Comedy’

Friday, August 2nd, the Ross Ragland Theater will pull open the curtain on the summer community production, as 23-local actors bring The Addams Family to life on the iconic RRT stage.

The all Basin cast has been rehearsing for weeks, while the crew has been busy building and lighting the set, all in preparation for opening night.

The Plot
In this original story, the macabre Addams Family is put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Grandmama and Lurch headlong into a night that will change the family forever.

The Addams Family features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family — a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.

Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.

Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.

Performance info
