William R. Garrard
May 10, 1940 - November 28, 2022.

William "Bill" Garrard passed away at home November 28, 2022 at the age of 82. Bill was born to Burdette & Helen Garrard in Rochester, New York. He lived most of his youth in Ohio.

Bill joined the United States Air Force after graduation from Brookside High School. He first came to Klamath Falls, Oregon while serving in the Air Force. After his military service he worked for local Klamath Falls radio stations as a Disc Jockey, Sports Caster and General Manager before eventually becoming owner of KAGO radio.

Bill was father to two sets of twins. He spent most of his adult life in Klamath Falls.

Bill was active in local organizations serving as members of the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and Jay Cees. He served as Klamath County Commissioner for several years before running for office as a State Representative. He served six terms representing Klamath County.

Bill was preceded in death by Sharon, his wife of 25 years and sister Virginia Stadt.

Bill is survived by his children; Kimberly Fry, Katherine Garrard, Candace Lincoln, Michael Garrard; grandchildren, Jordan Fry, Natasha Lincoln, Mikayla Stevens, Trevor Garrard, Tyler Garrard, Tanner Fry, Shastina Lincoln, Cooper Roberts, Piper Garrard; great-grandchildren, Maven, Nessa and Anderson. A private Memorial service will be held for Bill in spring of 2023.
