Wildfire Update: Klamathon Fire PM Update July 11th
Minimal fire behavior was observed today with minimal fire activity anticipated for tonight.
The south, west and east flank lines were completed and are holding within the current containment lines.
Dozers will continue to reinforce contingency lines on the north and northeast perimeter of the fire. Mop-up and strengthening of control lines will continue on all other flanks of the fire including fire suppression repairs.
Progress in the north and northeast is slow due to terrain and poor access for crews and equipment.
